Averages hide a wide spread. Two similar companies can sell a full turn of EBITDA apart, or more.
On a business earning $5 million a year, one extra turn is $5 million more at closing. What makes the difference is preparation, positioning, and how many serious buyers compete.
That is the work we do.

What we do
Most owners sell a company once. We make sure you do it with a full, competitive market behind you.
Sell all or part of your company through a competitive process built to maximize price and protect your terms.
Take chips off the table while keeping a stake and a seat, with a private equity partner funding the next stage of growth.
Divest a division or business unit cleanly, with standalone financials and a buyer who can run it.
For companies and sponsors: find, evaluate, and close acquisitions that fit a clear strategy.
How a sale works
Most sales take six to nine months from engagement to closing. You'll know what's happening at every step. The full process
We value the business, find anything that could lower the price, and fix what we can before a buyer looks.
We build the story buyers pay for: a confidential memorandum and a financial model that holds up under diligence.
We approach every credible buyer, including strategics, private equity, family offices, and independent sponsors.
Several buyers on one timeline. Competition sets the price and improves the terms.
We run diligence, negotiate the purchase agreement alongside your attorney, and keep the deal on track to close.
Why Density Partners
We work with private equity buyers every day. We know what earns a premium and what makes a buyer walk away, so we position your company accordingly.
We use AI to map every plausible buyer in your market, not just the usual names, so your process is genuinely competitive.
Your sale is led personally from the first call to the closing table. You always know where things stand.
Buyers sign confidentiality agreements before they learn your name, and we control what they see and when.

We focus on industries where we know the buyers, the metrics they care about, and what drives a premium.
